Last weekend was Epic

Last weekend was as good as it gets here in Phuket. Not a lot of wind, big waves and plenty of spots breaking. In the oncoming week the wind kicks in and the swell is gonna drop. But hey 7 days surf is not bad....

Today was sweet

Some nice waves at Kalim this morning and some meat grinders at Surin. Having funnnnn

Big weekend swell coming... lots of wind too, look for the sheltered pockets!

Surin Beach, May 2nd, 2011

Some fun waves to be had down at Surin Beach yesterday afternoon. Myself, Luke and a few locals had fun splitting a few peaks and dodging swimmers in the shore break. Should be waves all week judging  by the forecast. 

May 1st ... looks like the season is in swing..

We got some good waves over the last week. And it looks like the season is starting. Yesterday nice and glassy and today big and dumpy. But fun none the less.... hard work but it pays off....

WTF?

So much wind... so much rain... so little surf. What's going on here??
